Merchmix AI agents are built for retail merchandising. They build your budgets, range plans, trade reviews and purchase orders from your own trading history, then hand them to you finished. Nothing executes until you approve it.
How your agents work
Yukti is the Merchmix AI operator. She sits inside every merchandising module you already use, so you ask for the work in the place you would have done it manually, and she brings it back finished.
Every agent follows the same four steps, whether it is setting a budget or raising a purchase order. You always see the reasoning before you see the ask.
Yukti works from your trading history, your live stock position and your channel performance. Not a sample, not last month's export, and not a template with your logo on it. If a number exists in your systems, it is in the working.
The agent produces the finished output, not a suggestion. A budget with the weeks phased. A range plan with the options costed and the price architecture set. A purchase order made out to the right supplier at the terms you already hold.
Every recommendation carries the evidence behind it, so your team can challenge the logic rather than rebuild the work. Ask why intake moved and Yukti tells you which lines drove it.
Nothing leaves Merchmix and nothing commits spend until a person approves it. Your team can amend anything before it goes, and Yukti holds that change as a constraint for next time.
Planning agents
Planning is where most of the year's margin is decided and where most of the time goes. Your planning agents work in sequence, budget first and everything downstream of it, so your range and your marketing spend are working from the same number rather than three versions of it. The budget itself comes from the growth target you set in Merchmix Recommends.
Yukti builds the budget from last year's performance, your current run rate and the growth position you want to take. Sales, margin, intake and closing stock, phased across the trading year and split by department. You can interrogate any line and see what drove it, then change the growth position and watch the phasing move.

The agent pulls last season's plan, reads what each activity actually returned rather than what it was forecast to return, and rebuilds it against your new budget. Spend moves towards the channels that paid and away from the ones that did not, with the return figures attached so the conversation with your agency starts from evidence.

Built from your own sales. The agent sizes the range against the budget, splits options by category, price architecture and supplier, and shows you the shape of next season before a single line is committed. It will also tell you where you are exposed, like a group sitting entirely with one supplier, before that becomes a delivery problem in October.

Trading agents
Trading agents run continuously through the season. The work that normally takes a merchandiser most of Monday is done before anyone opens a laptop.

Your trade pack is compiled and written automatically, then sent to the people who need it. Performance against budget and last year, best and worst sellers, competitor movement and the actions to take, in your inbox every Monday. Nobody logs in to generate it.
Your agent tracks competitor assortments, price points and markdown activity, matching their styles to yours automatically. Assortment volume, average price point, price boundaries and top price movers. The work that usually gets done twice a season by a junior with a spreadsheet runs every week.
Every promotion is measured against what it was meant to deliver, not what it looked like it delivered. The agent separates the sales you would have made anyway from the ones the promotion bought, then flags what is quietly costing you margin before the week is out.
Replenishment agents
Your replenishment agent watches cover, rate of sale and stock position across every store and every size. When a line needs reordering it builds the order, checks it against the supplier terms you already hold, and puts it in front of the person who owns the decision.
You see what is being ordered, from whom, at what cost, and why. You can also see what Yukti left alone and the reason, which matters more than it sounds. Lines with cover above four weeks or a markdown already planned do not get reordered, because reordering them would work against you.
Ask for a faster route and she models it. Harbor Tex at fourteen weeks against Riverstone at nine, with the landed cost difference and the margin either way.
Nothing commits spend on its own.
Every order waits for a person.

Product development agents
Yukti sits inside Forge, the Merchmix PLM, as her own workspace. Ask her to find the range gap, refresh a hero style, build an accessories story or explore material and colour, and she starts from your best sellers rather than a blank brief.
Pick a style to evolve and describe the change in your own words, or take one of the directions she suggests. Sharpen the silhouette. Add visible seam detailing. Shift to lighter summer materials. She generates the variation from the current product image, then the side, rear and detail views to match, and you keep it or ask for another change.
When you keep it, Yukti writes the marketing description and the product description, names the style, creates the draft product against the style it came from, and builds the CAD and bill of materials behind it.
From there it goes out for approval, to your suppliers as an RFQ, and through to Shopify once it is signed off. One thread from idea to live product, with a person at every gate.
Develop product based on your best sellers.

Connected data
Your agents are only as good as the data underneath them, which is why Merchmix connects to your ERP, your ecommerce platform, your point of sale, your warehouse and your supplier systems.
Your trading history, your live stock position and your channel performance land in one place. Your agents work from all of it, not from the slice that happened to be exported on Friday. Where a connector does not exist we build one.
Your judgement
Costing an option means weighing supplier relationships, quality trade-offs and what you know about a factory that will never appear in a report. That is your team's edge, and it is not one we would want to take away.
So your agents clear the ground around it. Every number, every plan and every order arrives finished, which means the judgement calls get your team's full attention instead of the last hour of a long week.
Proof of concept
We connect your systems, load your trading history and let your agents build against your real numbers. Six weeks, your data, your season. Not a sandbox and not a demo estate.
At the end you will know exactly which work your team stops doing manually, how long that work was taking, and what it is worth getting back.
Merchmix is a merchandising and inventory operating system for mid-market retailers, and the agents run on the same platform your team plans and trades in.
Merchmix agents take the preparation, the compiling and the drafting off your team, and give them back the time to trade.
