Is this a PIM?
Yes. It is product information management in merchmix. Attributes by category, copy and SEO for each language, images, documents and specs sit on one product record.
Does it publish to ecommerce?
Yes, to Shopify. A product goes out only when its required fields are complete, and changes re-sync without anyone retyping them. You can also import an existing Shopify catalogue.
How does it handle styles, colours and sizes?
Each style holds its colourways and size range. Attributes, copy and images sit on the style or the colour, where they belong, so every product reaches the storefront complete.
How does it connect to our ERP and storefront?
Approved products go to Shopify, and changes re-sync without anyone retyping them. Your ERP stays the system of record: run horizon, or connect NetSuite, SAP S/4HANA or Microsoft Dynamics 365. 1/10 the cost of enterprise suites, live in 12 to 15 weeks.
How does it work with PLM?
It sits inside forge, on the same product record as the PLM. The specs and the product copy come from one place, so nothing is written twice.
What happens when a supplier changes a composition?
A new version on the material, logged in Change Tracking; products using it read the new one.
Can different categories have different fields?
Yes. The category schema decides which attributes apply, in the trade's own vocabulary.
Where do the images live?
On the product, in Assets: versions, renditions, rights and collections.
What does complete actually mean?
Required attributes and content present, no blockers, completeness score at ready.
How long until our products are in it?
